"Neptūnas" has prepared preparation plans for the upcoming season. They include five friendly matches

Klaipėda, who will play in the European Cup again next season, will play their first friendly match on August 28, when they will meet Riga VEF in Latvia.

Later, Neptūnas, coached by Gediminas Petrauskas from next season, will face foreign teams coached by two Lithuanians. On September 5, the port city team will train Baku Sabah, led by Rimas Kurtinaitis, and on September 9, they will play against London Lions, led by Tautvydas Sabonis. The first meeting will take place in Kretinga, the second in Kaunas.

True, R. Kurtinaitis will probably not be in this match, as the coach is still expected to continue working with the Lithuanian national team at the European Basketball Championship.

"Neptūnas" will introduce itself to its city fans through Vladas Garastas Tournament September 13-14. In the semi-finals of the tournament, which will take place at the Švyturys Arena, Klaipėda will challenge the Ventspils team from Latvia, and in the grand or minor final they will meet Šiauliai or Tallinn Kalev/Cramo from Estonia.

The Klaipėda team will start the 2024-2025 season on September 20, when they will test Panevėžys Lietkabelės in the first match of the LKL season. Their first European Cup match awaits them on September 30, when Neptūnas will visit Poland and play against Wrocław Śląsk.
