It has been revealed where the Lithuanian men's basketball team's 2027 World Championship qualifying match against Iceland will take place.
The Lithuanian Basketball Association announced that The match against Iceland on March 2 will be held in Klaipėda, at the Švyturys Arena.
In the qualifying round held in November, Rimas Kurtinaitis' team defeated Great Britain after a fantastic winning shot by Ignas Sargiūnas, but had to admit the advantage of the Italian team at home.
This February, the men's national team will meet Iceland twice in a row - on February 27, they will have an away match, and on March 2, they will host their opponents in Klaipėda.
