Based on Justin Marcinkevičius's poem "Spider's Wedding", the musical performance created by the Klaipėda Youth Theater is a witty and instructive story for children and a musical allegory that highlights our own faults. During the performance, the audience will get to know the impressive and menacing spider Tabalai, his minions beetles and the birds that protect the sun from the spider. And not only will they get to know each other - the whole audience, both children and their parents, will be able to take part in the tussle and fight for the sun.
The play "The Spider's Wedding" stands out for its unexpected scenography solutions. Actors create costumes and props from simple but reinvented objects, for example work gloves become bird feathers. This choice of developers is not accidental. The actors of the Klaipėda Youth Theater aim for children not only to have a great time in the theater, but also to develop their imagination, fantasy and release their unlimited creative possibilities.
